Thai Bodywork
(Nuad Bo Rarn)

Thai bodywork is a rejuvenating method of stretching, pressing, and palpating the muscles and energy lines of the body. Increased life energy (also known as prana or chi) help support the nervous, circulatory, muscular, lymphatic, and digestive systems. Not only is it good for your physical health, Thai bodywork can bring calm to the mind and spirit as well. This ancient healing art is given on a floor mat, with the client comfortably clothed.

I trained in Chiang Mai, Thailand from November 2008 to February 2009. I studied extensively at a handful of different schools, such as the Old Medicine Hospital, Loi Kroh, and the Sunshine School. I would especially like to thank Kru Dot at the Sunshine School for her thoughtful, gentle and wise instruction.

I offer private appointments for clients, as well as Thai bodywork instructional sessions for couples and groups. In these instructional sessions, you’ll learn how to give a 40-60 minute massage. The video on this page is from an annual community event I lead called Day of Wellness, and it gives a short example of instruction and a small taste of Thai bodywork.
