Somatic Coaching

Somatic practices help us get in touch with our body’s feelings, moods and perceptions. The body speaks in the language of sensations, but we are so often disconnected from our bodies that we don’t hear their messages. In order to truly heal, we must be able to be with the body - especially with discomfort - and tend to the constrictions and suppressed emotions we all have. The good news? We don’t have to do it alone. Having a coach supports you with co-regulation, encouragement, and resources to help you live with more ease.

Being a naturally curious person, I’ve studied and trained in many types of wellness practices - both for my own personal growth as well as expanding my range as a facilitator. I love how embodied awareness practices can help us access more flow, more understanding, and more attuned presence for the joys and hardships in our lives. They guide us towards deeper authentic connection to ourselves and others. I offer classes, consulting, and training in all the modalities listed above.

Public Speaking & Workshops

From my beginnings in simply teaching asana to my studies in trauma conscious care, resilience building, social justice, and somatic therapies I feel like I have a better understanding of what (w)holistic healing is. These days, I think of what I do as holding space: facilitating experiences where people can feel seen, heard, valued, and held in a sense of belonging. This is the approach to all my workshops and speaking engagements.

International Yoga Retreats

I have been leading international retreats to Asia, Central and South America, the Carribean, and Europe since 2011. On retreat, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your yoga practice through daily classes that meet you where you are. There are also pre-arranged sightseeing trips and adventure tours so you can participate in culturally responsible tourism. All this, with a group of fun, welcoming and diverse folks.
